Gargage Sale and Bake Sale Update

The garage sale and bake sale on Saturday was a HUGE success and a lot of fun for everyone who participated.  We cannot say thank you enough to the Homies Bible Study group for organizing everything.  Several of them spent Thursday and late in to the evening on Friday picking up, sorting and pricing all of the donations.  It was quite the undertaking.  Thank you to everyone who donated items for the sale and baked goods for the bake sale.  We could not have asked for a better turn out or more perfect weather! 

The entire experience was truly touching.  Many people made additional donations or told us to "keep the change" from their payments when we told them about Natalie.  Three different people came to the sale to make purchases then went home and brought items back to donate.  The best part is that several people asked about Natalie's story and told us that they would be praying for her.  Above all else the prayers being lifted on her behalf are the most important thing of all.
